Apostille or Authenticate by US Department of State (USDOS);
Price of: US $75 per document
Certificates of Naturalization and Certificate of Citizenship are the official documents issued by United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) as proof that a person has been granted U.S. citizenship through naturalization or someone who derives or acquires citizenship from their US parents. The US Federal Government issues Certificates of Naturalization and Certificates of Citizenship. Therefore, the US Department of State (USDOS) in Washington, DC is the only entity that can Apostille or Authenticate the documents.
Note: The USDOS accepts original documents or certified true copies by the USCIS. In order to Authenticate or Apostille a Certificate of Naturalization or Certificate of Citizenship, the USDOS requires the document to have an original signature and the name of the officer who signed the document for either the original or the Certified True Copy. A document will not be accepted for Apostille or Authentication if the name of the officer who signed it cannot be determined. In these cases, the client must go to a USCIS office and obtain a new certified copy specifying clearly the name and title of the officer whose signature appears on the document.
Roca Authentications, LLC has many years of experience authenticating documents and can personally handle the Apostille/Authentication on your behalf here in Washington, D.C. Please send us an email or call our office for additional information.
