Obtaining your own visa can be a lengthy process.

The passport must be valid 6 months beyond intended stay.
The original passport must be submitted and have at least two blank visa pages for processing.
Non U.S. Citizens must provide a notarized copy, front and back, of a U.S. Green card or 1-94 in order to have a visa processed.

Provide a copy of green card or US Visa and I-94.

A Business Letter of Guarantee
Your Company Letter is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and should state the purpose of the visit as well as your business contact in Vietnam.
Business Visa Approval
This form will be from your Vietnamese joint venture partner they must obtain the approval letter in advance from the Immigration Department on your behalf. This must accompany your visa application. (The business approval letter is not issued by the embassy)

Work Visa Approval
This form will be from your Vietnamese joint venture partner they must obtain the approval letter in advance from the Immigration Department on your behalf. This must accompany your visa application. The letter must indicate the work that will be performed, length of job assignment and the number of entries, single or multiple.

Vaccinations – International Certificate of Vaccination required for Yellow Fever if arriving from infected area within 5 days.
The Vietnam visa can be extended after arrival in Vietnam at the Vietnam Immigration Service, for an additional 20 day stay.
