Passport Information

US Citizens with US Passports are not required to obtain a visa when entering Thailand for tourism purposes. US Citizens are permitted to stay for 30 days, stay may not be extended.

Here’s what you’ll need:

A Valid US Passport must be valid beyond intended stay.
Proof you can afford to stay in Thailand for the duration you plan on staying, Thailand requires each person to have in either cash or traveler’s check the equivalent of 10,000 Baht or 20,000 Baht per family.
Travel plans confirming you will be leaving within 30 days of your arrival

Tourist Visa for 60 days Stay (TR Visa) Single Entry

Current passport
Your passport with at least 6 months of validity remaining and at least ONE completely empty visa page.

Two (2) passport photo. Photo must be 2×2, color, with a white background.
Round Trip Flight Itinerary
Copy of itinerary showing arrival and departure dates.
Copy of Recent Bank Statement
To show proof of $700 per person or $1,500 per family. Applicant’s name must be clearly stated, if submitting family bank statement, a proof of relationship like birth certificate or marriage certificate must be provided.
Non-USA Passport Holders
Provide a copy of green card or US Visa and I-94 & a letter of proof of employment/full-time student status. For self-employed a business license or business registration with applicant’s name. (Paystubs will not be accepted)

Note: Period of stay cannot exceed 60 days, Visa will only be valid for 3 month effective date of issuance, do not apply for visa too early it may expire before your trip.

Business Visa Requirements (B Visa)

Current passport

A Company Letter
A letter from your company stating your position, length of employment, salary, purpose of your visit(s) to Thailand and how long you will be staying.
A Ministry of Labor Approval Letter
For stays over 15 days you’ll need an approval letter from the Ministry of Labor. The company in Thailand will have to submit this Form WP.3 (click here) to the Office of Foreign Workers Administrations, Department of Employment, Ministry of Labor for more information click here

Work Visa Requirements (B Visa)

A Company Letter
An invitation letter from the concerned company/organization.
A Work Permit issued by the Ministry of Labor
An approval letter from the Ministry of Labor. The company in Thailand will have to submit this Form WP.3 (click here) to the Office of Foreign Workers Administrations, Department of Employment, Ministry of Labor for more information click here.
Corporate Documents
Business registration and business license of associated partner/company in Thailand, List of shareholders and company profile.

Teaching Visa Requirements (Visa B)

An Original No-Criminal Record Background Check
Issued by your state or FBI, it must be less than 3 months old. We can help with that Click here.
Office of Private Educational Commission Approval Letter
is required for those who will be teaching at an international school not listed as a recognized International School
